Google puts live traffic data on mobiles E-mail

Search engine leader Google has released a new mapping product for US cellphones which allows users to check live traffic conditions across 30 cities. Like most Google products announced these days, Google Maps for Mobile is still in beta stage.

According to Google, users will be able to check traffic conditions from their phones, get driving directions and get real-time traffic estimates.

There is also a feature that enables users to recall favorite locations and routes at the touch of a button.

It is not clear, if and when Google decides to expand the service outside the US. {moscomment}
