Nokia's Intellisync mobile email now in Australia E-mail

Nokia Australia has announced Australian availability of its Intellisync range of push mobile email, security, device provisioning, and instant messaging software products. Nokia acquired Intellisync in February 2006 for $US430 million.
The software runs on nearly all mobile devices platforms, including Symbian OS, Microsoft Pocket PC, Palm OS, BREW and offers a range of features including Intellisync Wireless Email, Intellisync File Sync, Intellisync Data Sync and Device Management.

The software will be sold and supported through a range of channel partners: Airloom, Data3, IBM and Fujitsu. An updated version of Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite (version 7.0) will be available in Australia in the third quarter of 2006. It will support the new Nokia ESeries range of business optimised devices – The Nokia E50, launched on 21 July in Australia, as well as the Nokia E60, Nokia E61 and Nokia E70.
