The company, which offers tools for content filtering and web security solutions, is also evaluating the possibility of establishing product development and BPO centers in the city. “We are planning to hire over 100 people at the technical support center which would be fully operational in the next four months and will cater to the company’s clients in Europe and the US,” said Peter Wigley, financial director, ContentKeeper. He said the company was looking at gaining foothold in the Indian market. “Internet security market in India currently stands at $27 million while globally it is estimated at $27 billion. The potential here is enormous later this year, we would also be launching email security solutions this year.” A large portion of the development work of this new product is currently being done at its Australian center. “If our plans of setting up a development centre in Hyderabad progresses, we will be able to shift some high-end work to India,” he added. This year, the company is looking at recording revenues of $10 million against $5 million last year. After the initial launch of ContentKeeper products in 2002, the company had made inroads into major government departments and large corporations. Based on this initial success the company expanded its operation into the American, European and Asian markets. Today, its global client base includes many of the world's largest companies along with government organizations in Europe, US, Canada, Mexico, UK, South Africa as well as Australia. {moscomment} |
