Unwired Australia says it has doubled its Melbourne coverage area, with the activation of three new base stations in Brighton East, Cheltenham and North Melbourne. They will provide coverage of their suburbs as well as Garden Vale, Ripponlea, Bentleigh, McKinnon, Ormond and parts of Braeside, Keysbourgh and Waterways: an additional 104,000 Melbourne homes, according to Unwired. Unwired launched its Melbourne network in April with base stations in the Melbourne CBD, South Yarra and South Melbourne. |
