Sun Microsystems appoints new storage sales manager E-mail

Sun Microsystems has appointed Jamie Leggate as the Storage Group’s Sales Manager. The former StorageTek employee will be responsible for storage sales in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory. Leggate has more than 20 years IT industry experience, including eight years experience focused on data management, enterprise application and business integration in Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. He joins Sun from Fuji Xerox where he was General Manager of Strategy and Development. Leggate has held several senior sales roles at IBM and TiS as well as StorageTek.
