Enterprise applications software provider, Mincom, has signed a major contract with Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IndyGo) to provide an integrated Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution.

The Mincom Transportation Solution is used by passenger and freight organizations to support operations and maintain infrastructure. Customers include Long Beach Transit Authority, USA, AC Transit, USA, Metronet, UK (supporting London Underground), and Network Rail, UK.

Gilbert Holmes, IndyGo CEO and president, said, “As we continue to expand our public transportation system, it is imperative that our workforce has access to the most current technology to enhance overall performance. We needed a quality software solution that we could rely on and which would help us to accomplish our goals while increasing productivity. We are working toward putting all of our departments on the same system, making communication more effective and attainable across the board.”

Mincom’s flagship Ellipse software suite, which is part of the IndyGo deal, is designed to improve warranty recovery, automate payroll, and to integrate grants management with operational activities and executive alerts. {moscomment}
