Vodafone claims that more than 10,500 Western Australians and 7,000 South Australians already have Vodafone 3G mobile handsets or data cards. From launch, Vodafone’s 3G service will be available in the Adelaide and Perth CBDs and some surrounding areas. Full metropolitan area coverage is expected by around October 2006. Vodafone says that planning for regional 3G networks will commence in 2007. |
