Ericsson Australia & NZ gets a new MD E-mail

The managing director of Ericsson Australia and new Zealand, Barry Borzillo, will leave the company on 7 July to become CEO of Tenix solutions. He will be replaced by Bill Zikou, currently president of South East Europe for Ericsson.
Zikou returns to Australia after five years as the head of Ericsson businesses in Greece, Yugoslavia, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Albania and Malta. Before leaving Australia he held several senior roles in Ericsson Australia including COO, director of Ericsson's Vodafone business in Australia and head of its now discontinued manufacturing operations.

Borzillo began his career with Ericsson in 1987 as part of the Ericsson Australia Graduate program.  He was made managing director in 2002.
