Tim Dunn, director of the Queensland Government’s Shared Services Initiative Office said, “Our challenge is to make available a new Information Management solution for all government agencies over a reasonably short timeframe, and satisfy key business initiatives of the shared services programme as well as regulatory compliance needs.” Garry Henley, CEO, Alphawest said, “This is an important contract for Alphawest and provides a very strong growth opportunity for our operations in Queensland. There are a number of factors which gave Alphawest the edge including our flexible commercial models for clients alongside the experience we have in Queensland implementing the Government’s chosen solutions. We have more than 50 Information Management consultants available to work on these projects. We are also able to access our partners’ capability – Deloitte Consulting and Deloitte Eclipse. A key feature of our approach to working with Government agencies is our ‘Coaching for Success’ approach to transfer skills and expertise to the government agencies. This approach was specifically designed for the Queensland Government EDRMS programme."
