| Hutchison offers 3G mobile organiser and job dispatch |

It is a web-based hosted application that enables businesses to access shared email, contact and calendar information via 3G mobile handsets. Features include: group calendar and scheduling; shared address book and contacts; messaging (email, SMS and instant messenger); shared file and image manager. The service will be released in June and will cost businesses $10 per user per month. It will be available on a range of 3 handsets. At CeBIT, 3 also previewed Mobile Job Dispatch, a service that "gives businesses with a field force or mobile sales team, a real-time mobile solution to dispatch jobs and invoice direct to MYOB and Quickbooks". "For staff that spend a lot of time on the road this means no more returning to the office simply to complete paper work, or pick up job allocations. This could result in an increase in productivity and therefore revenue for SMBs," Hutchison said. Mobile Job Dispatch will cost $1 per user per day and will also be available from June 2006. |
