VoIP service provider, MyNetFone, has revamped its service plans and introduced one with calls to Australian cellphones for 15 cents per minute, a price which the company says is at least five cents cheaper than its nearest rival.
To get this prices, customers must take the new PowerSaver plan which cost $49.95 per month with an included 500 local or national long distance calls (normally charged at 10 cents each). International calls cost from two cents per minute.

At 15 cents per minute the price is lower than the cost charged by mobile carriers to terminate calls on their networks. However calls are charged in one minute increments and are generally short, so MyNetFone believes the offering will be profitable.

The company has also revamped its zero dollar entry plan, scrapping its 10 cent untimed local calls and 15 cents per minute national calls in favour of a single 12.5 cents per call untimed charge. It has also cut the price of calls to mobiles on this plan from 29 to 27 cents per minute. Customers also now have the option of getting a dial in PSTN number on this plan for $30 per year.

The plan does not carry a contract term but if it is cancelled the balance of this $30 fee is forfeit. The PSTN number is included at no additional charge on all other plans.

MyNetFone has also reduced the price of calls to mobiles on its $9.95 per month MegaSaver plan from 29 to 20 cents per minute. And introduced a new JumboSaver plan for $19.95 per month that include 250 10 cent local or national calls, and 20 cent per minute mobile calls.

All prices are for prepaid services. These are available postpaid for an additional $10 per month.
