| Joint venture to offer data protection and disaster recovery services |

Two companies specialising in business continuity, Project IT and Von Corporation have joined forces to form Business Continuity Asia Pacific Pty Ltd. (BCAP) and offer Double-Take Software, a range of real-time data protection, application availability and disaster recovery products and services, from US company NSI. BCAP will provide local support, training, maintenance and solution engineering services for Double-Take. "Double-Take is simply a hardware and software agnostic toolkit - it allows us to protect servers without distance limiting factors, whilst at the same time doing this cost effectively" said Kelly von der Heyden, BCAP's managing director. BCAP claims that Double-Take "is the world's most relied upon solution for over ten thousand customers, from SMEs to Fortune 500, in the banking, finance, legal, retail, manufacturing, government, education and healthcare markets." Users of Double-Take in the Oceania region include ABN Amro Morgan, AC Nielsen, Attorney General's Office Canberra, Baker McKenzie, Barclays Global, Baulkham Hills Shire Council, Challenger Financial Services Group, Fujitsu Australia Ltd, Fujitsu NZ Ltd, Hillsong Church, National Bank, QNI (Queensland Nickel), Queensland Newspapers, Rabo Bank, Siemens Ltd, Snowy Hydro, Tenix Defence, Victorian Government Reporting Service and Vicroads. |
