We'll take spam rather than pay say users E-mail
by Stan Beer

A new poll shows that email users are firmly opposed to paying for email as a means of ending the perennial spam problem.

The poll taken over the past 24 hours by iTWire asked the question: "Should we pay for emails in order to end spam?"

Of 143 respondents to the poll, just 20 (14%) voted yes and 123 (86%) voted no. Paying small amounts for guaranteed email delivery has been proposed for quite some time as a way of beating the spam problem. However, it appears that email users would prefer to keep pennies in their pockets and take spam with their mail. {moscomment}
