SingTel has reported that subsidiary Optus added 189,000 mobile customers in the three months to 31 March 2006, expanding its mobile customer base by almost 10 percent year on year to 6.49 million. In January Optus acquired Virgin Mobile with around 500,000 customers and later said it would integrate this business with its existing wholly-owned MVNO, SIMplus. |
