See also: TelstraClear to build $NZ43m 10Gbps NZ research network Ericsson has been awarded a four year contract by TelstraClear to supply and commission the switching intelligence for the 10Gbps advanced research network and provide support services to assist TelstraClear operate and maintain it. TelstraClear was last week awarded a contract for the network by REANNZ (Research and Education Advanced Network New Zealand). It will provide New Zealand's research and educational institutions with super fast links to each other and their peers in more than 40 countries. Ericsson claims to be a global leader in the managed services business with over 80 contracts globally. It also claims to have more than one thousand services specialists and experts in Australia and New Zealand offering an end-to end service, including consulting, systems integration, managed services, network deployment and integration, and education and support services. |
