Acer will provide SBS with more than 800 desktops, notebooks and LCD monitors in the three year contract. The deal is in the form of a joint offering through Acer and channel partner Leading Solutions. Alex Surplice, Director, Operations and Resources for SBS Technology and Distribution (T & D) said, "As a media organisation, SBS demands flexible configurations, ease of use and above all reliability. "Using Acer for our operational needs is expected to deliver us peace of mind and high customer satisfaction. We provided a very comprehensive brief in terms of our specific requirements and we believe the team at Acer and Leading Solutions will rise to the challenge to ensure we receive service of the highest quality." Frank Ugolini, Acer National Sales Manager explains, "We are confident we can meet the challenges set by SBS. Our solid partnership with Leading Solutions once again demonstrates that channel engagement is key to giving customers the confidence and peace of mind they are looking for in a supplier. "Our flexibility in warranty and support options enables us to increase service levels without adding much to the bottom line costs which enables us to be more aggressive in terms of cost."
