DoubleClick's DART solution will remain the ad management platform of choice for the combined company. DoubleClick says "the best of AdSolution will be incorporated in future generations of the DART platform. Falk clients who transition over to DoubleClick will benefit from DoubleClick's industry leading search, optimisation and rich media capabilities." Thomas Falk, CEO of Falk, will assume the role of president of DoubleClick EMEA reporting to Ben Regensburger, president of DoubleClick International, along with Kaylie Smith who will continue to head up DoubleClick Asia Pacific. DoubleClick will acquire Falk's global development team in St Petersburg and additional European offices in Düsseldorf and Amsterdam, giving it "sizeable engineering hubs in North America, Europe and Asia dedicated to developing innovative global products and services for local markets." According to Ben Regensburger, president of DoubleClick International, "...the acquisition will accelerate DoubleClick's strategy of delivering an industry-standard platform for engaging consumers across digital channels, and strengthen our ongoing investment in search, optimisation and rich media." DoubleClick has global headquarters in New York City and maintains 21 offices around the world to serve its more than 1500 clients. The transaction is expected to close prior to March 31, 2006. |
