Tele-IP has entered into a heads of agreement to acquire the business of Queensland based TSA Communication Solutions Pty Ltd, the largest NEC Channel Partner in Queensland, for $3.5 million in cash and shares. TSA was established in 1993, has turnover of approximately $5.62 million, a staff of 26 and more than 1500 customers. Tele-IP says its expects to have a full South East Queensland presence through expansion of operations to the Sunshine Coast within 12 months. The acquisition does not include TSA Software Solutions which will continue unchanged as a separate entity, but will "maintain its strong relationship in partnering with Tele-IP in all hardware and services business in the future." The CEO of TSA Communication Solutions, David Asnicar, will join Tele IP as state manager for Queensland, and installation and service manager, Grant Parker will also join Tele IP as technical services manager, Queensland. |
