Microdia Corporation, second behind Sandisk in flash memory manufacture has appointed importer and distributor Natcomp Technology Australia to distribute its flash memory cards into the Australian and NZ markets.

Natcomp’s, managing director Fabio Grassia said that this would initiate an aggressive push by the Hong Kong manufacturer into ANZ with a range of Microdia ultra and high speed flash memory cards with memory sizes up to 8GB.

Natcomp will be supplying and marketing the Microdia flash memory products primarily through the IT channel, camera stores, electronic mass retailers and mobile phone stores. The range will be available in mid March.
