Microsoft picks BT to unify global call centres E-mail

BT has signed a two year contract to bring 77 Microsoft call centres around the world into one centrally managed system.

Under the agreement, for Microsoft's global OneCall call centre routing initiative, BT will design, build, deploy and manage a solution to unify Microsoft's 77 contact centres throughout the world for customer service and support, sales and marketing into a single network-based contact centre environment.

It will enable all centres to centrally managed for call routing, "resulting in improved customer service levels and better use of call centre agents."
