Networks, Redline Communications, Sequans Communications and Wave sat - for conformance to the 'fixed WiMAX standard 8021.16-2004. Certified products include Aperto's PacketMAX 5000 base station, Redline's RedMAX AN-100U base station, Sequans' SQN2010 base station and Wavesat's miniMAX CPE.

"Certification means interoperability and compatibility," said Aperto CEO and chairman, Reza Ahy. "It means that customers can buy with confidence. Certification means that vendors like Aperto can compete and cooperate in a framework of open standards."
