Telstra has named Glenice Maclellan as acting head of Telstra Consumer to replace group managing director, David Moffatt, whose resignation was announced in October.

Moffatt will stay on at Telstra until the end of November to assist with the transition. Maclellan has been at Telstra since 2006, most recently holding the position of executive director of category marketing and operations in Telstra Consumer.

Peter Jamieson will temporarily fill Maclellan's former role, in addition to his normal responsibilities as Executive Director Business Performance. Moffatt joined Telstra as CFO and group managing director, finance and Administration in 2001 before becoming group managing director, Consumer in 2003.
