Australian-listed Objective Corporation has put in place an expanded leadership team which it says will help the company drive business growth in the UK market and to further capitalise on “recent success and opportunities” in the UK public sector.

Objective CEO, Tony Walls, CEO, said today the appointments of a new general manager and services director for the UK was pivotal to Objective’s next phase of growth in the market.

Walls announced the appointment of Simon Etherington as general manager and Michael Clark as services director for the UK, with immediate effect. Walls said Etherington joins Objective after a long and successful career with SAP spanning 11 years, including being “instrumental in leading SAP’s public sector business expansion in the UK & Ireland.”

Walls said Michael Clark had been promoted from the position of practice leader for the western region professional services team where he was responsible for managing Objective’s strategic implementation projects in Western Australia and Singapore.

“As part of Objective’s ongoing strategy, Simon, with Michael’s assistance, will lead the ongoing expansion of Objective and Limehouse throughout the UK, further capitalising on our recent success and opportunities in the UK public sector.”
