Global supply chain assets and information management vendor, Intermec, has beefed up its Asia-Pacific regional management team as it seeks to further strengthen its capabilities and expertise in the region.

Intermec’s vice president and general manage for Asia Pacific, Jansen B. Ek, said today three appointments had been made to the regional team, including Penny Chai as director, marketing, Asia Pacific based in Singapore, Cary Noah as senior director, Asia operations, and Andrew Chew to the position of senior director, printer engineering for the printer media division.

Ek said Chai would be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive Asia Pacific marketing plan supporting Intermec business objectives, as well as managing the company’s channel marketing program. Chai is an MBA graduate from Monash University.

According to Ek, Cary Noah would be responsible for “leading and setting the strategic direction for all aspects of supply chain operations in the region,” and Andrew Chew responsible for all “printer and printing solutions development; including strategy and roadmap development.”

“With these appointments we are building on the commitment and dedication of our existing team in the region and look forward to their contributions in continuing our drive for growth in Asia Pacific,” Ek said.
