Enhancements delivered in Beta 2 include new testing options, support for a wider range of application types in the IDE, drag-and-drop bindings for Silverlight and Windows Presentation Foundation, and support for additional technologies including the ASP.NET model view controller. Also new is .NET Framework 4 Beta 2, which has the same availability as the Visual Studio beta. Enhancements include significant reductions in deployment size, inclusion of the Dynamic Language Runtime, support for side-by-side installation with .NET Framework 3.5 (to ensure backward compatibility), and support for features such as parallel programming and service-oriented applications).
