Open Text Social Media allows customers to implement consumer-orientated social media technologies such as Wiki’s, Blogs, Social Search, etc. and stay in control of their content. Hooper added “Traditional email is ill-suited toward supporting employees working in a social or collaborative manner; users are looking for more efficient ways to access people and content. Open Text Social Media enables organisations to benefit from these new ways of working securely and within the overall context of the organisation's records and content management strategy."
