Australia enterprise software vendor, Pronto Software, is looking to expand its business in the North American market with its signing of three new value-added resellers and the appointment of a senior executive to drive its development in the market, as well as globally.

Pronto managing director, David Jackman, said today XONITEK Corporation, Business Computer Technologies, (BCT) and SHS, had been signed as resellers and Terry Leister had been appointed vice president North America to spearhead the company’s expansion into the market and to “drive the development and management of a reseller channel in North America to strategically grow Pronto Software’s global operations.”

According to Jackman, securing partnerships in the lucrative North American market opens up “exponential growth opportunities and is testament to the ability of Australian enterprise software vendors to effectively compete in the world’s biggest market.

“This is a strategic objective of ours as we recognised that to grow our global presence we needed to enhance our international partner channel. It’s a major step in our growth strategy, and we now have the foundation of a partner network in the US and Canada to achieve significant market coverage, and we are very excited to have Terry lead this key initiative.”

Terry Leister said that, “over the last two years we’ve learned a lot about where our relative strengths and practical innovation value proposition fit within the North American marketplace. These partnerships with leading mid-market resellers validates the value our flagship solution, PRONTO-Xi, brings to businesses in North America.”

Jackman said Pronto was “impressed with all three partners for a number of reasons,” adding that “all have established customer bases, a proven ability to sell, implement and support ERP systems, a marketing and sales-focused culture, and a keen desire to broaden their solution set and target a wider spectrum of customers in industries with distribution and service requirements.”

According to Jackman, XONITEK Corporation is a “leading management and technologies consulting firm specialising in leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies”, BCT is a provider of CRM/ERP solutions, specialising in the manufacturing and distribution markets, and Montreal-based SHS specialises in ERP systems implementations and maintenance management for manufacturing sector SMEs.
