Netgear & Broadband Phone to offer wholesale VoIP E-mail

Netgear and Broadband Phone have partnered to offer ISPs a wholesale VoIP service that can branded and incorporated into their existing services portfolio.

The offering combines the Broadband Phone VoIP service with Netgear's VoIP hardware. According to Netgear, the service can be tailored to meet ISPs' specific needs, with the cost dependant on the level of customisation required.

ISPs are able to select their own call rates, payment plans and service pricing, and can bill customers directly with a branded invoice. Broadband Phone provides an online provisioning system that allows ISPs to activate/de-activate accounts, order and cancel phone numbers, download call details, access daily summaries and check statements.

ISPs can purchase a VoIP trial pack before investing in the complete wholesale offering "in order to ascertain how the service can best benefit their business and customers". The pack costs $550 and includes two Netgear TA612V broadband voice adaptors, 10 Broadband Phone service accounts with $100 prepaid credit and two PSTN phone numbers.
