The first content from Australian primary and secondary schools has been published on K-12 on iTunes U. Western Australia's public and private school sectors are leading the charge. The first Australian content comes from the WA Department of Education and Training (DET), CEnet (Catholic Education Network), Presbyterian Ladies' College WA (PLC), and Scotch College WA. DET's content is weighted towards professional development for teachers, whereas CEnet's contributions are largely classroom-oriented. PLC and Scotch have jointly published a range of files, including materials relating to the International Baccalaureate (IB) and to learning with technology. More than 200,000 audio and video files are available to the public via iTunes U. |
