Internode has cut $50 from the price of its range of 3G modems for use with its a NodeMobile Data wireless broadband service and has introduced an antenna to boost reception. However this device was and will continued to be free on a 24-month 3G contract. Internode will also cut the cost for the professional E1762 HSDPA/HSUPA modems from $199 to $149. These cost $50 on a 24-month 3G contract. Internode is also offering a $29.95 Panorama 3G antenna to enhance signal reception for customers who use NodeMobile Data in areas of low signal strength. Another recent enhancement is the availability of static IP services on 3G. Internode’s 3G NodeMobile Data service costs $14.95 per month with a 500 megabyte data quota For $39.95 users get 5GB and, as with Internode's ADSL services, users can purchase addition data blocks if they exceed their quota.
