French based business rules software provider ILOGhas established a wholly owned subsidiary office in Sydney to support its local customers, including ANZ, CGU Insurance Limited, IAG and MBF. Headed up by ILOG's newly-appointed Australian manager, Stephane Marouani, the new office has four staff covering the sales and technical consulting functions, with additional resources being provided from Singapore in the short term. Marouani relocated to Australia from Paris, where he spent 10 years working with ILOG in a range of pre-sales, marketing and management roles. "We plan to focus particularly on the financial services and government sectors, where ILOG already has a strong track record overseas, and are working with leading systems integrators like BearingPoint, CSC, IBM and ISI to support our customers and grow the market," Marouani said. "With Australia's strong focus on business process management (BPM), ILOG also works closely with the leading BPM vendors like BEA, FileNet and IBM, to support business agility and service oriented architecture with our best-of-breed business rule management systems (BRMS)."
