Now, we have reports of a new PlayStation 3 bundle. This bundle is rumoured to contain a 250GB hard drive equipped PS3 Slim (the current model has a 120GB HDD) with a copy of the soon to be released, and much anticipated Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Whilst this news is firmly in the rumour file right now, Eurogamer is reporting three actual 250GB bundles possible destined for the European, or at least UK, market, one with Uncharted 2, a second with Gran Turismo 5 and a final bundle containing Assassin’s Creed II. The speculated price for the bundles being only £299, £50 more than the current 120GB HDD equipped PS3 being sold, but also £50 more than the proposed 250GB Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 bundle. All speculation aside, the PS3 Slim has certainly shaken up the high-def video game market, with both companies punching well, late into this generational round. |
