The new, free service is available for download to both Optus consumer post-paid and pre-paid customers. For consumer post-paid customers the My Account application will allow them to view their unbilled usage for eligible iPhone plans, view their last four bills, or pay their bill by credit card. And, for pre-paid customers they will be allowed to view their balance, view up to 100 of their most recent transactions, or recharge their account via credit card or recharge voucher. An Optus spokesman said today that the My Account application is free for both download and use, with data usage not charged when using the application on the Optus network. Optus customers will need an existing My Account user name and password to access the application or they can register for a new user name and password by going to My Account on the Optus website. |
