The Australian prices of 11 Billion broadband routers have been reduced. The strength of the Australian dollar relative to the US currency is said to be the reason.

Billion distributor PC Range has announced price cuts on 11 of the company's broadband routers.

The reductions range from 8% on the BiPAC 7404VGOX (now $A349) to 33% on the BiPAC 5200N (now $A159).

The reductions, averaging 19%, are attributed to the strength of the Australian dollar. Over the last six months, the exchange rate has improved from $US0.65 to $US0.85.
