Early builds of the first update for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard have been shared with a small group of Apple's partners.
A "select group of developers" has received the first external builds of Mac OS X 10.6.1, according to AppleInsider.

Boy Genius Report has gone a step further, listing what it says is a portion of the 10.6.1 release notes.

If items listed in the BGR story are correct, one of the most important changes will be support for Sierra Wireless 3G modems.

Most of the others are in the "might" category, eg, "an issue that might cause DVD playback to stop unexpectedly".

Full details of the changes coming in 10.6.1 are likely to be leaked once a general developer release occurs, which will probably happen within the next week or so.
