HP's Mac Printing & Scanning Board will be actively monitored on that day between 8am and 5pm US Pacific Time "to help customers enjoy full functionality of their current Mac-compatible HP peripherals." After that session, the Mac-connect team will continue to provide information and advice through the board, but the response time is likely to be greater. According to HP officials, more that 1300 HP peripherals are supported out of the box by Snow Leopard, including scan support for the company's latest all-in-one inkjets. In related news, HP recently announced improved support for Apple products by its Snapfish photo printing service. The company released the Snapfish iPhoto Exporter and the Snapfish iPhone App to simplify the uploading of photos from Macs and iPhones respectively. The iPhone app also facilitates the sharing of photos and albums with multiple mobile numbers and email addresses, and allows browsing through existing Snapfish photos. |
