Cloud applications provider Zoho now allows users to log in using their Google Apps credentials.

Zoho offers a range of cloud applications, some competing with Google Apps (eg, Zoho Writer, Zoho Sheet) and some that go well beyond Google's portfolio (eg, Zoho CRM, Zoho Invoice).

For some time, Zoho has allowed users to log in via their Google or Yahoo accounts.

Late last month, Google extended the Google OpenID Federated Login API to include Google Apps accounts, and Zoho is now taking advantage of this to allow the use of Google Apps credentials when signing in to any Zoho application.
