In Australia, Nintendo have dominated the charts, with Wii Sports Resort sitting in the number one position. According to GfK Retail and Technology Australia the independent market research group, Wii Sports Resort has notched up 100,000 sales during its four weeks on the market. Much of this due to the Nintendo marketing genius of bundling the Wii MotionPlus control enhancer in the (slightly more expensive) deal. The MotionPlus is an essential part of much of the Wii Sports Resort experience. Games such as Table Tennis and even the revamped Bowling thrive on the extra control given by the device.
