Systems performance management software developer Integrated Research (ASX:IRI) will open a new office in Washington DC to better support customers in the US Eastern time zone and to address what it sees as growing opportunities in the IP telephony market. Integrated Researchs products for the IP management market include PROGNOSIS IP Telephony Manager for Cisco CallManager deployments of 1,000 handsets or more and PROGNOSIS IP Telephony Express for smaller scale, distributed deployments. The company has appointed Nicolas Orolin as vice president of channels, North America as part of the move. Orolin will be based in the North Virginia office that will open on 2 November, 2004. The companys US headquarters, established in 1992, will continue to be based in Denver, Colorado. Over 60 percent of our customers are located in the Eastern U.S. time zone, so the new office will allow us to deliver faster support to that region. Virginias proximity to Washington DC will also allow us to effectively address the growing opportunities for IP telephony in the government, finance and higher education sectors, and it provides convenient access to the important mid-Atlantic market, said Orolin. Prior to joining Integrated Research, Orolin was the vice president of North American Sales for iCode, Inc, an ERP provider to SMEs. He also also served as vice president of business development for Precise Software. Prior to his stint at Precise, Orolin was the co-founder and vice president of sales & marketing for Strategy.com, a Personalized Information Network. |
