Some months ago Communications Alliance, on its own initiative commissioned two discussion paper, held industry fora and set up a number of working groups to flesh out the bare bones of the NBN , as provided by the Government into a workable model for the network. Comms Alliance CEO, Anne Hurley said that NBN Co's joining the organisation reflected its willingness to actively engage with the communications industry. "By joining our organisation, NBN Co has ensured that the lines of communication between the company and its future customers are well and truly open. She added: "From our first meeting with Mike Quigley we have been impressed by NBN Co's enthusiastic response to the industry's NBN preparations." Comms Alliance boasts more than 100 members. It lists recent additions as being: 3-Com; Rotstein Lockwood Reddy Lawyers; Buroserv Australia; Intelsat; Flexirent Capital; Opticomm and VC International.
