Twitter followers can (sometimes) be bought E-mail

Some people are developing fascinating ways to corrupt the entire social networking paradigm; conversely, there are others who actually 'get it.'

uSocial proudly boasts that it can, for a small fee, bring you all the twitter followers you can cope with.

Here for instance: "The simple fact is, Twitter followers are worth money to you and your business. The more followers you have, the more money you will inevitably make marketing your products and services to them. While all followers won't be responsive customers, many will -- with our own accounts we find that each follower we have is worth about $0.10 to us every month. Therefore, for every 1,000 followers, you'll should [sic] earn around $100 from them per month. Have 10,000? That's a further $1,000 per month for you or your company."

Readers won't be surprised that Twitter is entirely unimpressed.

However, readers might be surprised to hear that uSocial is boasting about the fact that Twitter is trying to shut them down.  In a recent press release, they say that "Twitter has recently moved to shut down web promotions company uSocial.net, by claiming the advertising agency is 'spamming.'

"According to uSocial CEO Leon Hill, Twitter recently sent accusations via a brand-management organisation that uSocial are using Twitter for spam purposes. Despite this, uSocial say the claims are false."

Allow me to be astonished at the level to which a company and their leader will refer to themselves in the third person.

However, this is not the first we've heard from uSocial.
