3D Networks revamps top management E-mail

Voice and data systems integrator, 3D Networks, has appointed four new top executives for Australia and New Zealand: a CEO, national sales director, strategic solutions partner manager and national professional services director.

Rod Taylor has been appointed CEO and Eduardo Piriz national sales director for Australia and New Zealand. According to 3D Networks Taylor has more than 25 years of experience building sales and business support teams throughout Asia and a proven track record delivering results and above target performance in various roles at Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi, Logical Networks, Macquarie Telecom and EMC. He joins 3D Networks from Agilent Technologies where he ran Asia-Pacific operations.

Piriz will report direct to Taylor and has been tasked with "building a passionate national sales team able to sell at the C-level and who can deliver solutions to the ANZ market that meet customers' end-to-end network requirements." He plans to target SMEs with under 500 seats and to focus on specific vertical markets including healthcare, hospitality and education. He joins 3D Networks from NCR where he spent the last 12 months with the building and fostering NCR's relationship with Cisco. Before that he spent over seven years managing NCR in the Asia-Pacific region.

3D Networks has also appointed Kathryn Power as strategic solutions partner manager and Andrew Park h as national professional services director. Power is responsible for its relationships with key vendors including Nortel, Cisco, Juniper, Microsoft and Mitel. She joins 3D Networks from Unisys Australia where she managed the partner relationship with EMC for five years across the Asia-Pacific region.

Park will report direct to Taylor and will lead the business solutions consulting division focused on application consulting, unified communications, and data and security consulting services. He comes to 3D Networks from Software AG Australia where he was the professional services director for over three years and managed across the Asia-Pacific and Japan region.
