Coinciding with this month’s launch of its revamped channel partner program in Australia, security vendor, Marshal8e6 has made two new appointments to its national channel team to deliver increased education and support to channel partners.

The company’s, vice president APAC sales, Jeremy Hulse, said today the revamped channel partner programme was launched at the beginning of August and cemented the company’s commitment to its partners by investing in resources, quarterly channel roadshows, technical training workshops for existing and new products, and sales and marketing support as well as tools.

Hulse announced the appointment of Dung Hua as sales engineer, and Michelle Duffy, to the position of national channel account manager.

Hulse said Dung, who previously worked for reseller Content Security, would provide technical information and support to Marshal8e6’s channel partners across the Asia Pacific, and as national channel account manager, Duffy, who previously worked with the itX group and Express Data, would be responsible for managing and driving the relationship with channel partners to grow their Marshal8e6 business.

According to Hulse, as the Internet becomes more dynamic, there is a “greater need for Marshal8e6 to introduce new solutions to tackle the ensuing emerging threats, such as blended threats.

“We understand the vital role our channel partner’s play in helping customers combat these threats. They are the front line in providing organisations with protection against email and Web threats to security.”
