The critical vulnerability in Adobe Acrobat, Acrobat Reader, AIR, and Flash Player has been addressed with new security updates from Adobe.

The vulnerability, identified last week , affected all four programs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

Some attacks had already been reported against Windows versions of Reader.

Yesterday and today, Adobe released security updates for the programs on most platforms, with the exception of Adobe Flash Player 9 and 10 for Solaris.

The updates are available from the programs' main Adobe downloads page or via the automatic Adobe updater in each program.

Adobe recommends all users update.

Further details, including version numbers and exactly what got fixed, are available in the Security Bulletin .
