Family members sick of your repetitious warbling in SingStar?  Time to download some new tracks to sing along to, and Sony has signed up Universal Music to provide a new batch of material for your living room repertoire.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has restocked the SingStore with an eclectic mix of music from newly signed Universal Music.

Much of the stable of material will be available early next month, but one timely release has been brought forward.

Due to popular demand from the SingStar community however, PlayStation has brought forward the SingStore release of The Jackson Five’s I Want You Back, making it available for download by PS3 users now!

“As the biggest name in competitive singing, SingStar is delighted to partner with the world’s leading music company,” says Dave Ranyard, Executive Producer of SingStar, London Studio. He continues, “The SingStore for SingStar PS3 is all about choice, about calling the shots yourself. Having Universal Music on board will give SingStore users the biggest choice of pop hits yet.”

The following Universal Music tracks will be added to SingStore from 8th August:

If I Could Turn Back Time: Cher
Rocket Man (I Think It’s Going To Be A Long Long Time): Elton John
