According to Marshal8e6, the solution has been designed to provide organisations with enterprise class email security and content filtering technology, and it claims “unlike other managed security solutions available, MailMarshal as a Service is the first security service in the market which enables users to apply much more granular control over their policies by customising the email security and content filtering settings.” Marshal8e6 Asia Pacific vice president of sales, Jeremy Hulse, said the service utilises the MailMarshal SMTP functionality and defense in depth engines for customers who prefer a hosted service to on-premise solutions, and will be initially available through Marshal8e6’s channel partners throughout Australia and New Zealand.
