Vodafone group has struck a deal with Tom Tom subsidiary Tele Atlas to use its digital maps and location-based content the provision of location-based services and navigation offerings in its networks worldwide.Featured Whitepaper

Vodafone will also gain access to Tele Atlas speed profiles, claimed to provide highly accurate speed data to help navigation application users find the most optimal routes and more accurately estimate travel times. According to Tele Atlas its maps are developed with the insight of a community of millions of GPS system users worldwide who are adding to its network of sources to track and validate changes in real time, and deliver the best digital maps and dynamic content.
