The Electronic Entertainment Expo showcased the upcoming titles of all significant industry players, and below are the awards given out post show by a panel known enigmatically as the Game Critics. Best of Show Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (Naughty Dog/Sony Computer Entertainment America for PlayStation 3) Naughty Dog’s follow-up to the well received PS3 exclusive had an excellent E3. Showcasing the games beautifully rendered environments, improved combat and excellent characterisation was a winner all round. Best Original Game Scribblenauts (5TH Cell/Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment for Nintendo DS) The surprise hit of E3, in a similar way to the excellent Drawn To Life, also on the DS, Scribblenauts tasks players with imagining, writing and then watching their scribbled imaginings come to life in-game. Your hero needs a helicopter, if you can spell it, it is yours.
