Lagudi says the rewards program puts cash directly into the pockets of its members who refer friends. According to Lagudi, the scheme pays current members a cash referral fee called a ‘SOC Fee’ for every friend who signs up for a one year subscription of $10, using their unique referral ID. Apparently, on request for payment, 'SOC Fees' will be paid directly into a member's PayPal account within 10 days from every Saturday. Sounding like Martin Luther King, Lagudi says, when the e-commerce site was set up in 2008, he “had a dream -- to make it easy and affordable for everyone to own their piece of the net.” Today, his dream is a reality, according to Lagudi, and he claims the SOC Exchange's novel service offering is attracting a big following in the online space, in a market previously dominated by eBay. “The concept is simple. For just $1 per month or $10 per year, flat rate, people can have their own unique website within The SOC Exchange portal on which they can list and sell as many items as they want, with no commission fees and no extra charges.
