Clarke said the trial included automatic updates and real-time scans to deliver maximum protection. “Not only does this special offer give our customers free access to best-of-breed security software for 90 days, but AVG has put together a highly attractive price for those wanting to upgrade to a 12 or 24 month licence at the end of the trial.” AVG Australia and New Zealand marketing manager, Lloyd Borrett, said the offer was designed to ensure that Suncorp Bank customers were fully protected from online threats. “Today, much of what you value is on your computer, such as the usernames and passwords you use to access your bank accounts and financial records, your photographs, music, email and important documents. Borrett said that at the completion of the 90-day free trial, Suncorp customers would have the opportunity to subscribe for a 12 or 24 month licence at a 15 per cent discount off the recommended retail price. He said the combination of the free trial and discounted licence subscription would save the bank’s customers around 40 per cent of the normal cost of protecting their computer from attack over a 12 month period. |
